Navy courses are taught in schools at various Naval Stations all over the world and efforts are made to be sure that every school is teaching the same curriculum.

For any given subject, one school is selected to write and over see the curriculum, fleet wide.
That school is known as the Course Curriculum Model Manager.
The acronym CCMM is shortened to C²M².
