 Son of Samuel HUSTED.

Married to Sarah GRAY (1821 - 1856)  They had four children.  (one set of fraternal twins)

He was widowed in 1858.

Hoyt married Anna Cornelia STONE in 1858. They had only one son, Daniel Stone HUSTED.

Son, Henry W. HUSTED was killed on 2 May 1863, in Battle of Chancellorsville, Va.

Daughter, Eviline HUSTED married her stepmother's brother, Demmon C. STONE on 18 Feb 1864.

Son, Evelyn HUSTED  was wounded 16 Mar 1865, in battle of Averasborough, N. C and died a month later.

After Hoyt's death, Anna married Samuel GRAY, the brother of Hoyt's first wife, Sara GRAY.  They later moved with her son, Daniel Stone HUSTED, to Oberlin OH.
